ArtStream Fall 2012 Heirloom Seed Gardening
During the fall of 2012 the ArtStream Project partnered with the Appalachian Studies Center at the University of North Georgia to create a curriculum around the idea of heirloom seed gardening and its traditions in the Lumpkin County area. In addition to creating a curriculum to be used in the spring of 2013, the ArtStream project facilitated the creation of the communigraph to be used in the arts based research on the current state, history, and tradition of heirloom seed gardening in Lumpkin County. Below are a collection of images from the development of the heirloom curriculum development as well as images of the cummunigraph and its creation.
